Welcome one and all!! The highlights of June 2005 were my cousin Kate's wedding [big fun] and an amazing hiking trip along the Beara Way in Ireland. Muchas gracias to the GoIreland folks that facilitated such an incredible adventure!!

Hedge School
In the late 1800s, the British banned the teaching of Irish children. Schools were burned and teachers executed. Hence, both teachers and students took refuge in the these naturally camouflaged Hedge Schools.
